The WASB Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Member school boards nominated businesses which have been helpful to their schools over the past year. Green Bay’s Initiative One and its owners Fred and Tracy Johnson were recognized on the WASB 2016 Business Honor Roll. The company was featured in a “Teaming Up for Education” cover story in the October 2016 issue of Wisconsin School News.

Initiative One has provided leadership training and strategic planning support to the Howard-Suamico School District (HSSD). The District is also excited to engage in a pilot program with Initiative One to provide leadership training opportunities for our students as part of their support of the Upward Together campaign. Our work with Initiative One is transforming the practice of our leaders in HSSD. We are grateful for their support of our mission to “work together with families and community to ensure that our students have the knowledge and skills to succeed in a changing world.”
