Wisconsin Association of School Boards honors Greg Klimek and Klemm Tank Lines

klimekThe WASB Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Member school boards nominated businesses, including newspapers or other media, which have been helpful to their schools over the past year. Howard’s Klemm Tank Lines and its Executive Vice President Greg Klimek were recognized on the WASB 2015 Business Honor Roll. Some of the partnerships were featured in this piece “Partners for Education” in the October 2015 issue of Wisconsin School News.

Klimek is the president of the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation and volunteer co-chair of the Howard-Suamico School Disitrict’s Upward Together Education Campaign. A proud alum of Bay Port High School, Greg was also instrumental in the development of the “Pirate Nation” alumni and fan association. Greg’s volunteerism, personal financial commitment to the campaign, and passion for creating opportunities for children are all testaments to his selfless leadership in our community.
