The second annual Taste at Bay Port event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25 at Bay Port High School leading up to the varsity football game between Bay Port and Pulaski. Local vendors will have delicious food for sale from 4:30-6:30 p.m. outside the main entrance to the athletics field. An addition to the event this year will be a new and team-worn apparel sale.
“We want to celebrate the wonderful support for Bay Port athletics within our community,” said Booster Club President Jeanne Nolle. “Teaming up with local businesses has been a great way to reach out. Last year was such a success we decided to make it an annual event and hope to see it grow every year.”
Tickets are available at the event for $1, with menu items available for 2-4 tickets each. Proceeds will benefit the Booster Club, which supports all sports teams at Bay Port High School. Vendors include The Bar, Legends, La Java, Anduzzi’s, Mustard Seed Cafe, Olson’s Piggly Wiggly, Brainfreeze, Josephine’s, Townline, The Watering Hole, and Olde World Pastries Plus.
